Ice Storm Causes Flight Cancellations At Will Rogers Airport

An ice storm has already caused several flights to be canceled at Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City this Saturday.

An ice storm warning was issued for central Oklahoma on Friday. According to Will Rogers Airport, airlines have canceled some to all of their arrival flights for Friday night.

Officials say several Saturday morning flights have been canceled with more cancellations anticipated. Travelers are encouraged to check flight status before coming to the airport.

As many as 18 flights scheduled to depart Oklahoma City on Saturday have been canceled due to the weather conditions.
