The Thunder has selected Stanford small forward Josh Huestis with the 29th pick of the NBA Draft.
Huestis is known for his lockdown defense and can hit the open shot. He averaged 11.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game last season at Stanford. He made the All Pac-12 defensive team last season as well.
He holds the Stanford school record for blocked shots with 190 and held No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins to just four points in Stanford's 60-57 upset win over Kansas in the NCAA Tournament.
The pick came as a bit of a shock, as many experts projected Huestis to be drafted late in the second round.
