Islamic militants are threatening to behead a second American journalist, just days after a video surfaced of the beheading of journalist James Foley.
Video of the execution has been pulled from nearly all internet sources, and some are questioning why.
Joey Senat teaches Journalism at Oklahoma State.
“There's no right or wrong answer to that,” said Senat. “When it comes to completely censoring information, no, I don't think there's anybody out there smart enough to decide for me what I should get to see or what anyone else gets to see.”
“My personal view is it's so barbaric and shocking and so damaging to the family of this man," said Rose State College Senior Fellow David Cid. "I think it should be removed and seen only by the authorities who are trying to identify these people.”
