Oklahoma City police arrested an employee of a Subway restaurant, who is accused of threatening his supervisor and manager with a knife.
On Monday, Cody Darnell Vann, 31, was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of assault with a deadly weapon.
According to police, officers responded to the incident at about 7 p.m. Monday at a Subway restaurant, located at 3324 N. Classen Blvd.
A supervisor said he had asked Vann to do a typical, routine task, when Vann told him to “Shut the f*** up.” So he reported the incident to his manager.
The manager confronted Vann about the incident. However, police said Vann became angry and aggressive. He reportedly backed the manager into a corner, and at some point, he threatened the manager with a bread knife.
The supervisor and manager were able to run out of the restaurant and call police. Vann left the scene following the incident, but was arrested a short time later.
Vann was previously convicted of assault with a dangerous weapon in Oklahoma County, on December 11, 2012. He is currently serving a deferred sentence.
