Police executed a search warrant Tuesday evening and recovered a gun and digital video recording believed to be connected to the murders of a well-known family in Duncan.
Capt. Jay Evans said investigators searched the Duncan Warehouse Leasing Facility after reviewing surveillance video from surrounding businesses.
In a confession, 19-year-old Alan Hruby confessed he threw the gun and security footage in Duncan Lake after killing his parents, John and Tinker, and his teenage sister Katherine on Oct. 9 in their home on the 1200 block of Bent Tree.
Dive teams searched the lake on Friday and did not find the murder weapon.
Evans said it could take a few days for a forensic review of the items recovered. Meanwhile, Hruby is being held without bond in the Stephens County Jail. He is charged with three counts of murder with deliberate intent.
