Jason Williams scored two goals for Oklahoma City, including the gamewinner with 1.8 seconds remaining on the clock in overtime, to lift the Barons past the Rockford IceHogs 3-2 in front of a season-high 5,817 in attendance Saturday night at the Cox Convention Center.

Williams's game winning goal came with Oklahoma City on the power play with Rockford's T.J. Brennan serving a delay of game penalty at 6:24 for shooting the puck over the glass. With the Barons holding the 4-on-3 advantage, Matt Ford sent a cross-ice pass to Williams who blasted a shot over the glove of IceHogs goalie Scott Darling less than a second before the period was set to end.

In the third period, Williams tied the game for the Barons, also with Brennan in the penalty box for the IceHogs. Andrew Miller sent a long pass to the streaking Williams who split two IceHogs defenders and fired a shot from the right circle that sailed over the blocker of Darling at 12:19.

The Barons outshot Rockford 47-28 on the game, with Darling making 44 saves in the IceHogs' loss.

Eleven minutes into the second period, the Barons scored the game's first goal. Curtis Hamilton sent a shot from beyond the right circle that Iiro Pakarinen tipped in the air and over Darling, where Bogdan Yakimov pushed the puck past the goal line for a 1-0 Oklahoma City lead.

Thirty seconds into the third period, with the Barons' Miller and C.J. Ludwig serving penalties from the prior period, Rockford knotted the game on a 5-on-3 advantage when Mark McNeill found Teuvo Teravainen who fired a wrister from the right side of the net past Barons goalie Laurent Brossoit.

Rockford took a 2-1 lead at 2:32 of the third when Pierre-Cedric Labrie grabbed the rebound from a Ville Pokka shot and flipped it past Brossoit. Labrie's goal came on the power play with the Barons' Travis Ewanyk serving a tripping penalty from 1:55 of the frame.

Williams's two late goals gave Oklahoma City the 3-2 win. Oklahoma City moved to 16-7-2-2, while Rockford fell to 18-8-3-1.

The teams meet again Sunday, Dec. 21 in a 2 p.m. start at the Cox Convention Center.
