In early January, Oklahoma law enforcement officials arrested a man accused in six sexual assault cases dating back nearly three decades. Now investigators believe that man could be responsible for other unsolved assaults statewide.
The most recent incident occurred on Jan. 9, when an Ada woman reported being beaten and sexually assaulted by a man named RJ Thompson Jr. Thompson was taken into custody on Jan. 10 in Konawa, Okla. and booked into the Pontotoc County Jail without incident.
Investigators with the Ada Police Department, the Seminole County Sheriff's officer and the Coal County Sheriff's office are involved in the case.

Thompson has been in and out of jail multiple times since the 80s. He has been accused in sexual assault cases in Coal, Muskogee, Pittsburgh, Pontotoc, Pushmataha, Seminole and Tulsa Counties.
Authorities are still looking into these cases and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
