One driver told News 9 he knocked on a the door to one unit and nobody answered. Moments later, the driver said, a man approached and claimed he accidentally provided the wrong unit number.
The driver was lead to another more secluded area of the apartments where a suspect showed him a gun and demanded money.
“They kind of didn’t need to say much at that point. I was like here you do whatever you want,” the driver said.
Another driver told News 9, a gun was fired near is his feet after he first hesitated to hand over the his money.
In the past week, drivers for Domino's, Papa John's and Marco's has become victims at The Highlands apartment complex.
