One In Custody After High-Speed Chase In SW OKC

One person is in custody Tuesday night after a high-speed chase in southwest Oklahoma City, police said.

An officer tried to pull over a vehicle near SW 15 and Grand and the vehicle would not stop.

A person got out of the vehicle near SW 18 and Grand, but the driver kept driving away. Speeds in the chase reached up to 95 mph.

The chase ended near SW 42 and Barnes Avenue. The driver was detained and no injuries were reported.

Officers searched the area for the person who ran away but so far, have not found them.
