Officer-Involved Shooting In Norman

Norman Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting on the 1700 block of Classen Blvd. in Norman.

Police responded to a call of a man making threats to shoot people on Saturday at 5:03 p.m. Upon arrival, officers made contact with one male subject who remained uncooperative and continued to make threats toward the officers. Officers fired shots and incapacitated the subject. Officers immediately rendered medical attention to the subject until medics relieved them. The subject was transported to an area hospital, his condition is unknown. No other citizens or officers were injured during this incident.
