Oklahoma City police released new information in a crash that killed Ingrid Williams, wife of OKC Thunder Assistant Coach Monty Williams.

The collision happened just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9 in the 1400 block of S. Western Avenue. Ingrid Williams, wife of Thunder assistant coach Monty Williams, died from injuries she suffered in the crash. The other driver, Susannah Donaldson, died at the scene.

According to a collision report, Donaldson’s car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crossed the center line to avoid hitting another car, crashing into Williams’ SUV. 

Oklahoma City police said on Tuesday that Donaldson's car was going 88 mph five seconds before impact, 92 mph 1.2 seconds before impact, and 78 mph at impact.

According to the collision report, before the crash, Donaldson had been distracted by something in vehicle, but not an electronic device.

The report stated that Donaldson was “exceeding speed limit, and that Williams took “no improper action.”
