After announcing he'd be transferring from Oklahoma for his final season of eligibility, PowerMizzou.com is reporting that former OU running back Alex Ross is likely signing on to play at Missouri in 2016.

Ross has signed a financial aid agreement with Missouri, but despite the fact it's non-binding , Ross is expected to follow through and tote the rock for the black and gold next season.

Ross-- the former Jenks product-- totaled 786 rushing yards on 123 carries over the last three seasons, but made most of an impact as a kick returner, as he averaged 25.7 yards per return.

Transferring to Missouri makes sense for Ross, who will be reunited with former OU coaches such as Tigers' offensive coordinator Josh Heupel and quarterbacks coach Joey Halzle.
