Dispute Between Neighbors Leads To Shooting, One Person In Custody

One suspect is in custody following a shooting between two neighbors in southwest Oklahoma City, Thursday morning.

Police responded at the scene near SW 52nd and S. Independence Avenue just after 1:00 a.m. According to authorities, one person was shot during a dispute between two neighbors. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Jose Lopez, 32, was arrested on counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm after a felony conviction.
