One person was arrested early Thursday after leading police on a slow-speed chase in the metro.

The chase started near Kelley and Wilshire. Police tried to pull over a pickup when the female driver continued driving.

Police tried to use stop sticks two times and two of the tires were stripped off of the vehicle.

The pickup continued to drive away and at one point was going at about 5 mph.

The pickup stopped near Kilpatrick Turnpike and Rockwell Avenue, and police broke open the window and pulled the driver out of the vehicle.

Police do not think the woman was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The woman was arrested and has been identified as Rayven Mailloux.
