2 Hurt After Report Of Shots Fired Near Oklahoma County Courthouse

Two people have been injured after a report of shots fired Wednesday morning near the Oklahoma County Courthouse, authorities said.

The Oklahoma City Police Department confirmed the injuries to News 9. The nature of those injuries is not yet known. However, both of the people injured in the shooting walked themselves to a local hospital, an Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office spokesperson said.

News 9's Jennifer Pierce was near the scene and said she heard 7 to 8 gunshots coming from the parking garage across the street from the courthouse. Pierce also confirmed with authorities that this started as an argument between gang members.

The courthouse is not on lockdown per the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office; they are on scene with OCPD.
