Rain chances are lower this week, afternoons look hot

Monday afternoon, we'll heat up a few degrees, especially in western Oklahoma.

Monday night through Tuesday morning, isolated showers are possible, mainly in western Oklahoma.

The best way to describe the next several afternoons is hot with isolated rain chances.

We have just enough Gulf moisture and summer heat to pop up a couple of showers or storms at times.

Tuesday night through Wednesday looks like the slightly better chance for showers in the state, especially to the east.

The next 9 days are marked by hot afternoons and low rain chances.
