A quiet and calm start for kiddos heading back to school! Some light fog in a few spots. Hot Thursday afternoon with sunny skies and highs in the 90s.
Thursday night we will have a chance for a few thunderstorms, with the best chance in eastern Oklahoma.
Highs on Friday will climb into the upper 90s and low 100s. Dangerous heat indices ranging from 100 to 113.
Another round of storms are possible Friday evening into Saturday morning. Best chance will be in the west and up north.
A few storms could produce winds to 65 mph and quarter size hail. Relief is coming in the form of a cold front, but that doesn't arrive until Monday.
