A few showers and storms in northwestern Oklahoma this morning. Those diminish at midday. Highs climb back into the triple digits Thursday afternoon.
The heat will be so extreme once again today, that it could be dangerous. Excessive heat warnings are out.
There is a chance for isolated showers and storms again Thursday night and Friday morning in the northwest.
Friday evening into Saturday morning storms will try to fire in the northwest as well. These storms could be low-end severe at times with hail and damaging winds possible.
This heat wave is still raging on, but there is relief coming. A cold front moves in Sunday. This will drop temperatures into the 80s and 90s for highs. Lows will fall into the 60s.
