It’ll be sunny and in the 70s for Thursday afternoon, but we are also tracking the potential for storms to enter the state Friday.
Scattered showers and storms will develop in the southwest Friday morning. These will pose a low severe threat. Dime to nickel size hail is possible and a few storms may produce quarter-sized hail with winds up to 60 miles per hour possible.
Isolated storm chances are 20 percent for Friday afternoon. There is expected to be a better chance of storms in northeast Oklahoma overnight into Saturday morning.
Saturday afternoon looks hot and windy. A cold front is expected to arrive Sunday afternoon and will bring a chance of severe storms. The front will likely fire near I-35 and then storms will race east.
We will have trackers out and will bring you updates through the weekend.
