Authorities in Woodward County are using the help of a psychic to help find a boy's body.

The sheriff is using a psychic to help solve a 6-year old mystery but, some people are skeptic of the method.

Woodward County Sheriff Les Morton invited Jeff Baker, a psychic from Colorado to search for the body of Logan Tucker.

Tucker was murdered in 2002.

"All I can say in these cases is I'm going to try my hardest," the psychic said.

Dr. Bryan Farha, Oklahoma City University's director of Applied Behavioral Studies and author of the book "Paranormal Claims," is skeptical of Baker's work.

"I consider what Jeff Baker is doing to be immoral," Farha said.

"If these techniques worked then we wouldn't have had to send our military to Saddam in that spider hole, we could have just used a psychic to tell us where he is."

Baker, who is no stranger to critics, said he uses prayers, meditation and dreams to communicate with the dead, but Farha said it's just a big guessing game that anybody can play.

"When you dispose of the body, you don't take it to NW 63 and May, and you don't take it to Times Square," he said. "You have to take it somewhere it can't be found."

Sheriff Morton said he's looked everywhere he can think of and he's at least willing to try Baker's methods.

"I'm not going to hold my breath by any means," Morton said.

A group of Woodward residents is paying for Baker's trip. Logan's mother, Katherin Rutan, is currently serving a life sentence for her son's murder. She's in the process of appealing her conviction.
