One Injured in 3-Car Crash

OKLAHOMA CITY -- One person was injured in a three-car crash on NE 23 Street Sunday afternoon.

Police said a man in a red pick-up truck was headed east on 23 Street. The pick-up went into the westbound lanes and hit a Humvee head on. The Humvee was struck then by another pick-up truck from behind and pushed into a parking lot.

The man who was driving the red pick-up truck was medi-flighted from the scene, but no other injuries were reported.

The crash occurred on NE 23 Street near Overholser Drive in Nicoma Park.

Police are investigating the cause of the collision. The victim's name and condition has not been released.
