Police Arrest Suspect In Warr Acres Walgreens Armed Robbery

WARR ACRES, Oklahoma -- Police have arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery at a Warr Acres Walgreens Sunday.

A tip led police to the arrest of Eugene Lucius Oliver Ruby, 21, Monday.

Police said Ruby walked into a Walgreens at 5901 N.W. 39th Street and demanded the store clerk give him several kinds of narcotics. Police said Ruby also told the clerk that if he complied, he would take the narcotics and turn himself in at a later date.

Warr Acres Police, assisted by Bethany Police, arrested Ruby Monday night without incident.

Ruby was transported to the Oklahoma County Jail on one charge of Armed Robbery.
