Fatality Accident Kills Two Near Davenport

DAVENPORT -- A head-on collision killed the two drivers and injured two passengers Thursday afternoon on SH 66 a half mile west of Davenport.

Phyllis Cole, 38, of Prague, Oklahoma, and Betty Johnson, 66, of Davenport, were killed when Cole's vehicle crossed the centerline for an unknown reason striking Johnson's car head on.

Two passengers in Cole's car, 14-year-old Logan Clark, and 10-year-old Morgan Clark were both injured.  Both were medi-flighted to the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

None of the occupants of Cole's was wearing a seatbelt.
