Anyiam To Miss Remainder Of Season With Broken Foot

The senior receiver broke a bone in his left foot during the Cowboys' win over Missouri.

STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State receiver Hubert Anyiam will miss the remainder of the season after breaking a bone in his left foot during the first half of the Cowboys' 45-24 road win over the Missouri Tigers Saturday.

Anyiam is third on the team in receiving with 370 yards and three touchdowns with 27 receptions through OSU's seven games this season. Going into Saturday, he was averaging four receptions and 56.5 yards per game.

This is the second time that Anyiam has had a season derailed due to injuries, after missing four games during the 2010 season, in addition to having surgery on his foot heading into the 2010 season.

Next on the depth chart for Oklahoma State is Tracy Moore, who has 24 receptions for 294 yards and two scores this season.

Justin Blackmon was also held out of the second half of the game as a precautionary measure after experiencing concussion-like symptoms.
