Suspects Crash Car During Police Chase In Southeast OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Del City Police say two suspects trying to outrun officers crashed their pickup truck early Friday morning on Interstate 240 near Sunnylane.

Around 2 a.m., a Del City police officer tried to pull over the vehicle after the driver ran through a stop sign. The driver refused to stop and the chase began.

The driver lost control on I-240. The truck rolled several times and crashed into a ditch. The passenger in the pickup received non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver was arrested and taken to jail.

The suspects' names have not been released, and there's no word on what charges they may face.
