OKLAHOMA CITY – There is always plenty to talk about at a team's annual media day, but even more so after a league was essentially shut down for a matter of months.
The Oklahoma City Thunder players met with the media on Tuesday at Chesapeake Energy Arena to discuss everything from the lockout to Twitter.
Among the highlights discussed at the media day:
-Kendrick Perkins using the lockout time to transform himself into a lean, mean 267-pound center.
-Kevin Durant discussing a potential contract extension for sidekick Russell Westbrook, whose deal must be inked in a little more than a month to avoid free agency.
-Cole Aldrich, widely known as the team jokester, discussing exactly where his black eye came from.
And plenty more. News 9's Steve McGehee was at the arena to capture all the sights and sounds as Oklahoma City preps for a short and hectic season.
