Sharane Campbell Named Freshman Of The Week

University of Oklahoma guard Sharane Campbell's career high performance earned her conference honors this week being named the Big 12's Freshman of the Week.

The Spencer, Okla. native tallied a career-high 19 points in OU's 89-57 win over Ohio on Sunday.

In the first half of that game the freshman went six-for-six from the field and hit two free throws to tally 14 points in nine minutes of play.

She scored 11 points in the middle of a 15-2 Sooner run that increased their lead from 14-7 to 31-9 in just over three minutes.

Oklahoma will play again Monday night against Syracuse at 4:30 p.m.
