Senate Navy Bean Soup

Ingredients

1 lb small white beans (uncooked)

1 bay leaf

2 cups ham, diced

1 tsp salt

1 cup onion, diced

¼ tsp pepper

1 cup celery, chopped

2 Tbsp parsley, chopped

8 cups water

Directions

1. Assemble all ingredients in a slow cooker.

2. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or until beans are tender.

3. Remove bay leaf before serving.
