Texas A&M guard Peyton Little will transfer to the University of Oklahoma for the fall 2013 semester and has signed a financial aid agreement with the Sooners, head women's basketball coach Sherri Coale announced Monday.
Little, who averaged 15 minutes while playing in all 35 games for the Aggies, will sit out the 2013-14 due to NCAA transfer rules and have three years of eligibility remaining the following season.
Little was a top-25 overall prospect, and top-10 rated guard, out of the Class of 2012. The 5-foot-11 guard averaged 4.5 points and 1.2 rebounds in her debut collegiate season.
Little is a native of Abilene, Texas, and is a second generation Division I basketball player. Her father, Richard, played a Texas Tech (1971-74), uncle, David, at Oklahoma (1979-83) and uncle, Mike, at Baylor (1979-80).
