Fake 'Jury Coordinator' Tries To Scam Oklahomans

Authorities are warning of a scam by someone pretending to be "jury duty coordinators."

Residents in Oklahoma and other states have reported getting the calls questioning them about jury duty summons. The caller asks for the intended victims' Social Security number and date of birth to allegedly verify the information.

Officials say jury duty is always arranged by mailed letters and anyone receiving a phone call about a summons should hang up and contact the local courthouse and contact local police.
