Oklahoma City police are investigating a possible hate crime at the home of a Vietnamese family in southwest Oklahoma City.

Just before 2 a.m. Thursday, someone set two vehicles on fire at a home in the 9500 block of S.W. 33rd Street. A vulgar message containing a racial slur was also spray painted on the garage door of the home.

The car and truck that were set on fire were destroyed.

Neighbors tell News 9 the family has lived at the home for several years and they've never had any problems before.

The victims told us they were sleeping when the vandalism occurred and they have no idea who did this, or why anyone would target them.

Police say at this time they have no suspects and it doesn't appear the home has any outdoor surveillance cameras.

If you know anything about this crime, are urged to call Oklahoma City police.
