Oklahoma used its last game of the exhibition season to improve as the Sooners won 98-76 over Mid-America Christian University inside the Lloyd Noble Center.

MACU is coached by former OU graduate assistant Josh Gamblin, and the Evangels were competitive out of the gates before the Sooners were able to use their superior talent to pull away as the game went on.

Buddy Hield led the Sooners in scoring with 23 points while Ryan Spangler scored 19 of his own. Jamuni McNeace led OU in rebounding with seven while Isaiah Cousins led the Sooners in assists with six. Devonse Reed led the Evangels in scoring with 30 of his own.

The Sooners finished their exhibition season with a 2-0 record, and begin the regular season on Tuesday when they play Memphis in the FedEx Forum.
