Okie Sheet Cake

Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a baking sheet with at least a half inch sides with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix together the baking soda, flour, and sugar. Combine the butter, water and cocoa in a microwave safe dish. Heat on High in the microwave for 3 minutes. Beat the eggs and buttermilk together in a measuring cup. Alternate pouring 1/2 of the buttermilk mixture & 1/2 of the butter mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir well till everything is mixed together and no lumps. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
While the cake is cooking in a small sauce pan combine all of the frosting ingredients. Stir and cook together until bubbly. Pour the warm frosting over the warm cake. Spread evenly all over and cover with cookie crumbles.
