Police Identify Body Found In Shawnee

Shawnee Police have identified a body that was found on Monday in Shawnee.

Police said they responded to the scene at around 1:40 p.m. near Belcher Road and Lk Dm Road after a man’s body was found in a cove.

On Wednesday, the Medical Examiner (ME) identified the body as Bryan Franklin Washburn, 39.

According to the ME’s initial report, there were no signs of foul play.

The investigation is pending until the final report from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
