Amazing Oklahoman: Malakai Gilbert

Malakai Gilbert told her family and friends she wanted to help keep unhoused people warm last winter.

So, with their help she collected more than 600 pairs of socks to split between several shelters in Tulsa.

Her family said she wants to help the families again this year if she can.
