OKLAHOMA CITY -- A judge has set an October preliminary hearing for a former Oklahoma State University employee, who is accused of embezzling thousands of dollars from the university.
Cynthia Low is accused of embezzling more than $8000 from the university. She resigned in February after the school discovered she'd spent thousands of dollars on items that had nothing to do with school business.
Records show Low bought $2,300 on sex toys, lingerie and other clothing, $530 on makeup and $284 on video games and DVDs.

Low was a senior financial assistant at OSU's chemistry department and was supposed to use the taxpayer-funded credit card to buy laboratory and office supplies.
Low pleaded not guilty after police arrested her back in March.
