Oklahoma City police have identified a body that was found November 9 in Oklahoma City.
Police say the body was that of 17-year-old Alina Fitzpatrick of Oklahoma City. This is not a confirmed homicide, police said, until her cause of death is determined by the Medical Examiner.
According to Fitzpatrick's family, Alina had been missing since Friday, November 4. The family even set up a website for people to leave tips about her disappearance. The family has also posted updates on a Help Find Alina Facebook page.
According to the website, Alina's cell phone had not been responding since November 4 and that the girl had not been in contact with any friends or family. The family also said they believed she could be in serious danger.
Police responded to a body found at 4506 Overbrook Road in Oklahoma City shortly before 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9.
