OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Regional Food Bank hosted its annual Hope's Harvest to raise awareness and funds to fight hunger.
500,000 Oklahomans are at risk of going hungry every day, which includes one in five children. Oklahoma is the fifth worst state for this hunger epidemic.
The harvest raised between $350,000 and $400,00 to help feed the working poor in our state.
Seniors are also heavily impacted by hunger issues, especially in rural areas. The Regional Food Bank offers a number of programs to help everyone from senior to Oklahoma's needy children.
