1 dead, another injured in overnight crash

A deadly Saturday night on Oklahoma roads leaves one person dead. Troopers said an SUV collided with a Sedan on Interstate 35 just south of Interstate 40 around 1 a.m.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A deadly Saturday night on Oklahoma roads leaves one person dead. Troopers said an SUV collided with a Sedan on Interstate 35 just south of Interstate 40 around 1 a.m.

One of the two passengers in the Sedan died. The other was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The passengers in the SUV are okay. The center and outside lanes of that part of I-35 reopened around 7 a.m.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
