City Arts Center to host fundraiser

An annual celebration allows visitors to view art of national, regional and some up and comings free of charge. Cafe City Arts: Circus Maximus is coming up later this week.

Cafe City Arts 2008: Circus Maximus is January 25 from 7:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

    Koko, the gorilla who mastered sign language, has died. The Gorilla Foundation says the 46-year-old western lowland gorilla died in its sleep at the foundation's preserve in California's Sana Cruz mountains on Tuesday.
