Fire crews investigate what sparked a SW OKC building fire

Firefighters worked to extinguish a building fire Friday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City Fire Department crews responded to the scene of a fire near Southwest 26th Street and South Blackwelder Avenue shortly after 12 a.m.

After arriving on the scene, firefighters said they found a building behind a residence engulfed in flames.

Fire officials say the building is a total loss, although no injuries were reported.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.
