OHP: 1 Dead After McClain Co. Crash

One person is dead after a crash in McClain County Thursday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP stated that around 10:05 a.m., 45-year-old Prescott E. Sims was traveling northbound on US Highway 177 when he crossed into southbound lanes and struck another vehicle.

Sims was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased, according to OHP.

Sims was pinned for around an hour before being extracted by Stratford Fire Department, OHP stated.

The other driver was treated and released, according to OHP.
