Science Museum Oklahoma has a new immersive experience for visitors. News 9’s Jordan Ryan with the Arca Continental Coca-Cola Porch visited the science museum to learn more about the new show.

Waylon Troyer, director of the planetarium, tells us about the new laser light show.

“We have a ton of shows that we are doing from now until June 15th,” Troyer said. “It’s a full show of laser lights. We have several projectors that are projecting these visuals on the dome, synchronized with the music, and it’s incredible.”

Troyer says that people asked for the laser show.

“Laser light shows and planetariums have been popular for quite a few decades,” Troyer said. “It’s just a really fun, unique experience that people miss, and they wanted us to bring it back.”

The shows have separate admission from the regular museum entry. Shows start at 7 and 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
