Clean-up is happening up the turnpike after early morning storms. News 9's Tevis Hillis was live in Stroud with a look at the damage.

The most significant damage is on Main Street, you can see the roofs that were taken off these units early this morning, luckily they were being remodeled so no one was injured.

Michael Harris lives near Oak and 10th Street, in Stroud. His fence was knocked down and a large tree pulled from the ground, "My neighbor said if I just move it to the end they’ll pick it up so Ill probably get some help from my brother-in-law."

Harris began his clean-up process but didn’t want to get too far into it, as he is getting ready for what severe weather could come his way tomorrow.

Strong winds up the turnpike cause pulled-back shingles and broken tree limbs.

The most significant damage is to a few units on Main Street. They used to be hotels, but a new owner wanted to restore them into apartments for this small town.

Just four weeks ago new roofs were put on, but those new roofs were met with April showers.

Assistant Fire Chief Adam Chace says the owner is going to be chatting with his insurance company to get everything fixed, "Most of the damage is the roof. You can see how the top of the roofs were attached to the brick walls," said Chase.

Chace also helps with Stroud's emergency management team. He's getting residence ready for a second round of possible severe weather Saturday.

Stroud High School was set to host the regional track meets tomorrow. OSSAA has rescheduled the meeting because of possible severe weather.
