Whether you chalk it up to Gavin Sawchuk finally getting healthy, to an improved offensive line player, or even just the matchups it's pretty obvious OU’s rushing attack has finally found its groove the past two weeks. Sawchuk, just a redshirt freshman has turned out back-to-back 100-plus-yard rushing performances and he's created explosive plays out of the backfield.

“Having some patience along the way. For Gavin You know he's got a great support system and amazing family and DeMarco does a good job of holding guys accountable. Letting them know, most of the time. I think they know exactly where they stand and what maybe they need to work on. Good for him from a maturity standpoint and being prepared for his opportunity and then hanging in there and getting a little bit better,” said Brent Venables.

The Sooners could be in for a big day. On the ground Saturday, BYU ranks 114 in the nation in rushing defense.
