Police Investigate Overnight Shooting Near NW OKC Apartment Complex

Oklahoma City Police are investigating a shooting that happened around midnight Sunday at the London Square Village Apartments near Northwest 10th Street and Council Road.

Police say one person was shot and taken to the hospital, that person is now in police custody.

Joseph Lopez, the victim from the shooting, was arrested and is accused of possessing a stolen firearm.

According to police, a red mustang sped off from the scene as soon as officers arrived. The mustang was driven by Lopez.

Police believe that others were involved in the incident and that Lopez was shot by someone else.
