Sooners Land 5-Star Defensive Tackle David Stone Over Miami, Michigan St.

The top Defensive Tackle in the class of 2024 committed to play for the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday.

David Stone, a five-star recruit from Del City who played for IMG Academy in Florida, picked the Sooners over Miami and Michigan State.

Stone is the No. 6 overall recruit in the 20224 ESPN 300 and is the anchor Venables needed heading to the SEC next season.

He joins Adepoju Adebawore, Jackson Arnold and Peyton Bowen as five-star recruits brought to Norman by Venables as he enters his second season as coach of the Sooners.
