Police: Man Dead After Drowning Incident At Tulsa Pool

Tulsa Police say a man is dead after finding him in a pool at Whiteside Park near 38th and Pittsburg.

Authorities say it happened Sunday around 6 a.m. and officers say the pool was closed at the time.

They say friends of the victim were with him when it happened and called police about a drowning.

They say the victim was in his late twenties but haven't released his name.

The City of Tulsa sys the pool will be closed until at least Wednesday and they'll provide an update when it's reopened.
