9 - OU's early departure to the SEC will likely be set-in-stone tomorrow as the OU Board of Regents meets to finalize the 2024 departure to the Southeast Conference. Original plans called for a 2025 exit.

8 - Scary moments caught on camera as a state trooper is hit by an alleged distracted driver. The trooper was taken to the hospital – but is now recovering at home. The 19-year-old driver was cited for distracted driving.

7 - A bipartisan bill in Washington is aiming to prohibit all children under the age of 13 from using social media and would give parents more control over what teenagers under the age of 18 can access.

The proposal comes amid increasing desire in Congress to regulate social media companies.

6 - The OU program that trains teachers how teach Advanced Placement courses is canceled. OU claims the State Department of Education failed to get them a contract. The state says it was cancelled due to low enrollment.

5 - A driver is in custody this morning after an overnight chase ends in the southeast metro. Police say the suspect was driving a stolen car. The chase ended near Southeast 89th and I-35.

4 - President Joe Biden has invited Congressional leaders to talk about raising the debt ceiling as the US is set to run out of money in less than a month. Oklahoma Senator James Lankford says the debt ceiling and spending cuts should be considered together.

3 - Today is a day to be weather aware. Meteorologist Lacie Swope says three rounds of storms are expected today with a tornado threat later in the day.

2 - The Oklahoma County Sheriff's office is asking for help identifying a man in surveillance video. They say he may have more information about a bomb threat that was called in at the Oklahoma County Courthouse.

1 - New details in the mass murder in Okmulgee County. We now know a sex offender who was released early from prison shot his wife, her three children and their two friends in the head and then killed himself, Jesse McFadden was set to stand trial on charges he solicited nude images from a teen while he was imprisoned for rape. McFadden's prison sentence was cut short despite facing those new charges,
