Oklahoma City police are looking to identify a suspect involved in several stabbings at a Bricktown nightclub. Two victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition over the weekend. Police said the investigation now involves state officials.

Citizens can leave anonymous tips for investigators by calling the Crime Stoppers tip line. Those tips could earn citizens a cash reward for identifying the suspect.

The knife-wielding suspect was caught on camera as he entered the Pink Parrot nightclub. Police said he was part of a fight that broke out inside the Bricktown club early Saturday morning.

“There were several people involved and one suspect produced a knife and stabbed multiple people he was fighting with,” said Capt. Valerie Littlejohn, Oklahoma City Police Department.

Club patrons posted videos on social media of the chaos.

Bricktown officers were already on scene outside the club when the fight broke out. Officers were able to start first aid on two critically injured victims.

“And with the first aid being rendered as quickly as it was, were more than likely able to save some lives,” said Littlejohn. “There were a handful of other victims that had injuries from broken bottles, falling on broken glass.”

Through the investigation, police learned several of the victims were underage and the club did not follow safety protocols to check for weapons. Police have notified the state’s ABLE Commission, the City of Oklahoma Licensing Department and Fire Marshal’s Office of potential violations.

“I know our department is working with all of them in regard to investigating that place of business,” said Littlejohn.

Scenes like this now have visitors rethinking their weekend plans in Bricktown.

“We try not to go out in the evenings too much,” said Jessica Hicks, El Reno resident. “Because there have been more incidents that have happened down there.”

Police will continue to work with businesses on protocols to check club visitor’s IDs and checking for weapons.
